The coaxial design of Vestlyd speakers draws inspiration from vintage 70s models, but it offers more than just retro aesthetics. This special construction brings clear audio advantages. The compression tweeter is mounted directly behind the woofer’s motor system, solving time alignment issues between the drivers. The woofer also acts as a horn for the tweeter, enhancing the sound pressure level (SPL) for better performance. Vestlyd calls this innovative speaker type the Power Monitor.

Unlike most coaxial speakers that require precise positioning and toe-in for optimal sound, Vestlyd’s wide sweet spot design allows for much broader sound dispersion. This means that, regardless of where you're seated, you experience even sound distribution and perfect time alignment, even at higher frequencies. With this design, you no longer need to toe-in the speakers for the best listening experience.

Additionally, Vestlyd speakers are made to be loud. Capable of delivering sound pressure levels exceeding 130 dB, these speakers bring concert-level sound into your living space with minimal distortion.
