The Vestlyd V12C's coaxial design draws inspiration from vintage 70s speakers, but it offers more than just nostalgic aesthetics—it provides clear audible benefits. The compression tweeter is mounted directly in the back of the woofer's motor system, which resolves time alignment issues between the two drivers. Additionally, the woofer acts as a horn for the tweeter, enhancing the sound pressure level (SPL) for improved efficiency. This combination of features makes Vestlyd's unique design, which they call the Power Monitor, stand out.

Unlike many coaxial speakers that require precise positioning to create a focused sweet spot, Vestlyd speakers are designed for a wide sweet spot. Thanks to their wide sound dispersion, these speakers deliver consistent audio quality throughout the room, even at high frequencies. The special coaxial construction ensures both perfect time alignment and an even distribution of sound, so there’s no need to toe them in—every seat becomes a sweet spot.

As for performance, Vestlyd speakers are made to be loud. With a maximum sound pressure level of over 130 dB, these speakers can produce concert-level sound with minimal distortion. Advanced simulations and measurements, including FEA (Finite Element Analysis), were used to optimize the voice coil and cone, ensuring high-power performance while maintaining low distortion.
