With an electronic motor stop and automatic lift at the end of the record, the CS 618Q offers the highest level of operating comfort for a manual turntable. In addition, there are the other comfort elements of the CS series. The stepless antiskating can be easily adjusted using a rotary knob with a clear scale. The electronic adjustment of the three speeds is conveniently carried out via a rotary switch, while the appropriate pickup can be easily changed using the headshell.

The Dual CS 618Q Direct-Drive Turntable combines classic Dual engineering with modern convenience and precision-focused vinyl playback. Built around a solid MDF plinth, the CS 618Q is available in multiple finishes including black vinyl, gloss paint, and elegant walnut veneer, allowing it to blend naturally into both modern and traditional HiFi setups. Elastomer vibration absorbers integrated into the feet help minimise unwanted resonance, while the switchable auto-stop function adds extra convenience during everyday listening.

Its heavy aluminium die-cast platter is designed for stable and accurate rotation, contributing to cleaner and more consistent playback performance. A heavy rubber mat helps damp unwanted resonance, while the hardened steel spindle is directly integrated into the direct-drive system for improved precision and long-term reliability.

The upgraded Twin Gimbal tonearm features a solid aluminium construction with four precision pivot ball-bearings for smooth and accurate tracking. A switchable automatic tonearm lift function gently raises the tonearm at the end of playback, helping to protect both your stylus and vinyl records over time.

Powering the CS 618Q is a quartz-stabilised direct-drive motor system supporting 33 / 45 / 78 RPM playback speeds. The advanced coreless drive design helps eliminate unwanted vibrations and reduces motor noise, while the double-shielded construction minimises magnetic interference for cleaner, more stable sound reproduction.
