The Perlisten R8s Subwoofer offers remarkable bass performance from an ultra-compact, beautifully engineered cabinet. Featuring an 8-inch glass fiber diaphragm driver with an impressive ±28mm of linear excursion, it’s powered by a 500W RMS amplifier and advanced digital signal processing (48-bit DSP, 32-bit ARM Cortex M4 processor) for tight, accurate, and distortion-free low frequencies.

Despite its small size (just 298 x 270 x 290mm, 14.4kg), the R8s delivers surprisingly deep and controlled bass, making it perfect for smaller rooms or for discreet installations where space matters, but sound quality can’t be compromised. It includes a 2.4-inch LCD touchscreen, a highly intuitive app (iOS/Android), flexible controls such as a 10-band parametric EQ with presets, variable phase, adjustable low-pass filters, and both XLR and RCA connectivity for seamless integration.

With frequency response settings reaching as low as 16Hz in boost mode, the R8s proves that true reference-grade bass can come in a modest footprint—ideal for audiophiles and home theater fans who want powerful, musical bass without dominating their room

R-Series subs – Trickle down technology from our flagship D-Series, we’ve developed a lineup of single driver-based subwoofers. Ground up drivers developed by our team of engineers. Glass fiber composite diaphragms, multiple aluminum shorting rings, massive magnets, multi-layer Nomex spiders and lightweight aluminum voice coil wire are the key ingredients – Proprietary nonlinear modeling techniques allow us to simulate all these components and then optimize for real world driver performance – free air and in box. Further refinement is done with the aid of our Klippel laser measurement system to dial things in. Powered by our new 500W amplifier to match the new designed 8” driver, all functions and safeties are controlled by a 48-bit data bath DSP and 32-bit ARM M4 Cortex processor, able to react in microseconds ensuring sonic accuracy. All R-Series subs share our 2.4” LCD touchscreen display and ability to control advanced settings using our App.
