The Pre90 is a preamplifier and input extender that take the 90 stack to a whole new level. Together, they allow you to connect up to six additional sources, output to additional amps (such as a tube amp), and more--essentially transforming the 90 stack into the Grand Central Station of audiophile setups. 

Fully balanced preamp with +16dB gain

The Pre90 is a fully-balanced amplifier that uses the same NFCA (nested feedback composite amplifier) scheme as the A90, delivering a dynamic range of 145dB and no audible noise. With +16dB of maximum gain, it can amplify the weakest of signals into the receiving amplifier. 

Run two amps from the Pre90

The Pre90 can be configured to run to XLR only, RCA only, or XLR+RCA. This final option allows you to run the Pre90 to two different amps, such as an A90 and a DarkVoice 336SE, without having to plug and unplug cables every time you want to jump from one amp to the other. 

Volume safeguards protect equipment and hearing

The Pre90 features a volume safeguard designed to protect your equipment and ears. If you end a listening session with the volume set high, the Pre90 will automatically reduce the volume to a safe level the next time you listen, thus preventing your speakers (and ears) from blowing out. 

Fully-functional remote 

The Pre90 comes with a fully-functional remote that allows you to control every aspect of the Pre90 from volume to gain to user settings. You can even use it to save the current program, locking in the volume for a specific input/output configuration. This is useful if you’re running multiple sources and amplifiers--which each need their own volume setting--to and from the Pre90.

Ext90 extender adds 6 input ports

The Ext90 adds six input ports to the TOPPING 90 stack: 2 RCA and 4 XLR. This significantly expands the input options of the stack, essentially allowing you to plug in every source you have. For audiophiles looking for an all-in-one solution, this is it.
