The original Kanto TUK has always been one of the more interesting powered bookshelf speakers in Kanto's lineup. It wasn't simply about convenience. With its Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeters, aluminium woofers and built-in amplification, the TUK was designed for listeners who wanted something closer to a serious HiFi experience without the traditional stack of audio equipment.

With the new Kanto TUK G2, Kanto has refined that concept further, introducing improved driver technology, updated DSP processing and modern connectivity while retaining the character that made the original TUK stand out.

What makes the TUK G2 particularly interesting to us is its combination of AMT tweeters and newly developed 5.25-inch Aircomb aluminium woofers. Unlike conventional dome tweeters, AMT drivers are designed to reproduce high frequencies with excellent speed, detail and precision. Paired with the rigid aluminium woofers, the result is a speaker designed to deliver clarity, controlled bass and an expressive presentation.
