High-performing digital-to-audio conversion shouldn’t have to take up a lot of space. That’s the central idea behind the Audirect hiliDAC Atom Pro: a portable DAC/amp smaller than most USB drives.
The Atom Pro includes MQA Renderer technology, which can connect to an MQA Core signal and complete the final processing of an MQA file.
It glows magenta to indicate that it’s rendering an MQA stream or file. (Note that a separate MQA core decoder is needed to achieve MQA audio.)
Driving the Atom Pro’s impressive audio is an ES9281C PRO chip from ESS and a crystal oscillator capable of delivering 119 dB DNR and 0.0003% THD + N.
