This cable inherits the basic design of the former “DF Series” model, which was a big hit and was the first to adopt the fantastic conductor “DF-OFC” that rewrote the history of TIGLON magnesium cables, and employs the newly developed “D-REN sheath” as a vibration and noise suppressor. The D-REN Pro magnesium spacer, which has been well-received around the world as a vibration-damping item, is used in the cable’s outer sheath to enable even more faithful signal transmission. The “HSE Treatment” burn-in technology, which is also used in the top-of-the-line “TPL-2000 Series,” has been applied to this reference cable, giving it the feel of a flagship model even as a standard model.
Product Details
The TiGLON MS-DR20R/X D-REN series cable features a conductor made of DF-OFC 3-core material, special PVC insulation, a magnesium shield, and a D-REN outer sheath. The outer size of the cable is 8.5mm.
According to a review in the August issue of MJ Audio Technology, the D-REN series line cable (MS-DR20R/X) has a very natural sound texture, excellent signal-to-noise ratio, and transparency, providing a clear sound field with good visibility5. The review suggests that the cable is worth even double its price.
The D-REN series also includes speaker cables (MS-DR20SP). The D-REN series is designed to offer high cost-performance and is suitable for digital audio systems. The D-REN series incorporates a D-REN coating as a vibration and noise dampening element.
