Cork
The unique combination of tweeters and midrange drivers is housed in a specially designed cork chamber that optimizes internal volume, enhancing driver performance. This feature, derived from the flagship Suprema speaker, utilizes the acoustic properties of cork to significantly improve clarity and provide an organic sound in the midrange output.
Camelia Midrange Speaker
Originally developed for the Suprema, the Camelia midrange speaker incorporates an organic basket and a membrane inspired by the camelia flower's shape. Its five-cut design reduces resonances typically found in circular membranes, enhancing Sonus faber's Natural Sound signature. The unpainted membrane ensures complete sound purity.
45° Wood
The 45° wood veneer finish, seen in prestigious models like the Stradivari and Amati, is also featured in the new Sonetto G2 collection. This angled veneer enriches the collection's aesthetic and highlights Sonus faber's artisanal craftsmanship.
Flower Patterned Surround
The rubber driver surround of the Sonetto V woofers showcases a unique floral pattern that encases the sandwich cone structure. Its asymmetric design disrupts circular modes, promoting greater linearity in sound reproduction while reducing interference and enhancing sound dispersion.
Tweeter Copper Cup
The tweeter in the Sonetto G2 collection employs advanced Silk Dome DAD™ (Damped Apex Dome) technology. With a frequency response extending beyond 30kHz, thanks to the inclusion of a copper cup, this tweeter captures fine nuances across the audio spectrum, ensuring exceptional clarity and detail in the Sonetto V's pristine sound reproduction.
