The Camelia midrange speaker, originally designed for the Suprema line, showcases an organic basket with a membrane that draws inspiration from the camelia flower's shape. Its distinctive design, featuring five cuts, minimizes resonances typically associated with circular forms, thereby enhancing Sonus faber's Natural Sound signature. To maintain sound purity, the membrane is left unpainted.
The organic basket represents a blend of cutting-edge technology and nature-inspired design, enhancing sound reproduction. Found in both the Reference and Homage Collections as well as the Sonetto G2 series, its asymmetrical shape offers structural support to the driver while avoiding repetitive patterns. This unique design, reminiscent of natural forms, facilitates superior airflow around the driver, ensuring exceptional sound quality.
The silk dome tweeter in the Sonetto Center is equipped with a Damped Apex Dome that delivers clear and detailed high-frequency reproduction, complementing the rich and balanced audio experience provided by the Sonetto G2 speakers.
