The C 388 includes an MM Phono stage with precise RIAA equalization, high overload margins, ultra-low noise, and an innovative circuit to suppress infrasonic noise, preserving bass response. Its line inputs support various analog sources with ideal input impedance and ultra-low-noise buffer amplifiers to prevent sonic degradation. The C 388 also features a dedicated headphone amplifier capable of driving high-impedance studio headphones and low-impedance line outputs for subwoofer connections, making this amplifier highly versatile.

With Bluetooth® aptX®, the C 388 enables CD-quality wireless music streaming from any Bluetooth-enabled device. You can also connect wireless headphones to listen to any source connected to the C 388, such as NAD’s own HP70. The C 388 also has a mobile control app for managing all amplifier functions. Adding the BluOS Module enables access to your network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, supporting Hi-Res audio streaming and making the C 388 a single-zone streamer in a complete multi-room music system compatible with BluOS Enabled devices and speakers.

NAD has moved away from traditional, power-hungry linear power supplies and Class AB output stages, opting for highly efficient switch mode power supplies and Class D output stages.
