The Solidsteel SS Series speaker stands are designed to enhance the performance of monitor-type loudspeakers by positioning them at the ideal height while ensuring high stability and rigidity. These stands address the need for proper setup, as monitor speakers are typically lighter than floor-standing models, making stability crucial. They also provide essential decoupling, which is necessary for optimal sound quality.
Product Details
The stands feature three tubular supports ending in crimped steel bars, with removable stainless steel spikes that allow the frame to be filled with damping material. The interchangeable MDF top plate allows for customization, making them compatible with a wide range of loudspeakers. Decoupling between the chassis and shelf is achieved through high-precision steel ball bearings, ensuring stability and sound isolation.
Originally designed in 1992 by founder Moreno Conti, the SS Series stands are assembled using a traditional brass welding process, crafted by expert hands. Each stand takes about 15 minutes to assemble, making them unique and inimitable in their design. They are also supplied with “Pata-fix®” to securely attach speakers to the top plate.
These stands are recommended for small and medium-sized bookshelf or monitor loudspeakers, including models like KEF R3®, KEF LS50®, B&W 805 D3®, Brigadier MU2®, BBC LS3/5A, and BBC LS5/9.
